Good day, I am new to the offshore fishing scene and urgently require some safe marks around the Noordhoek area. For example Suicde Reef and the entry mark for the approach to the launch area etc. I know it can be dangerous out there if you are in a spot you are not supposed to be and would really appreciate it if someone can share the danger points with me. Some good fishing spots will also be greatly appreciated if willing to share.

Noordhoek is a fantastic club. I'll help you, I've been kayak fishing there for years.
I'll give you slipway and safe pt marks plus a few intermediate waypoints to save a a route, which will ensure you stay in the channel, even in the narrow part, in a closed-in mist and long-shore beam wind.
This route is well tested and proven itself many a time life saver.

I'll also give you a mark for the off-shore side of suicide, just so you don't have to find suicide by accident or sound if youre going to the SP from the W shallow marks.

I jut gotta pull it off the gps.

Safety waypoints for Noordhoek as promised.
Save the first 5 waypoints as a route. Run the route in and out even when you don't need to, to "test" it, so that you are confident in it when you have to run it for real in the mist. Also useful to run it when going out so you dont need to look back over your shoulder at the boards; especially to verify if you are off course when the sea is big and you are picking your way through the swells & waves that encroach the channel from both sides, its easy to end up in the wrong place.

The Suicide mark is on its offshore side; if the sea is really big and you cant see suicide just make sure you pass some distance to the south of the mark.
