Good day gents. Does somebody have any info for me on Vygeboom Dam. I would like fish there for a weekend. Is there a spot for the public or do you habe to know soMeone who have a house there or someting like that.

There is space for the public. Quite a lot of space actually but the better spots are unfortunately where the clubs are. The trick is finding it though.

Do you know the area at all? the roads etc?

I know how to get there, but never went fishing there, would like to go try the place

Unless you know someone at one of the clubs you are going to have to fish the opposite side of the dam. If you come from Badplaas side and drive passed the Vygeboom Turn off and passed the dam wall you will see a well driven dirt road to your left. Take that road and follow the channel and you will get to the dam.

Dam has very clean and clear water. If bass is your target species, use natural colours and finesse fishing style.
