gme radio problems

I need someone to please help.I fitted a new 29 meg radio that lasted 9 months and then the circuitry for the aerial melted. They replaced the radio after much argument. The first time I used the new one it lasted one day then started something strange. When starting the motors i get noise on the speaker. I tried rewiring etc. no difference. I sent it back again, they say the boat is a problem. If it was the boat as they say why now after 1.5 years is it starting to feed through the speaker when starting??? Please help!!!

Hi,

Where is your antenna mounted?

Had mine on the rollbar over the motors and experienced the same problem.

Moved it to console in front and noise gone.

mine is on the consul, no noise when the motors are running, only when cranking!!!!

that happens some times not sure why you have two stroke motors
