You guys just do it wrong. I have to drain my tank at least twice a week because of all the savings by using the right spares - the total fuel saving from all these spares combined are more than hundred percent, hence the fuel increase instead of decrease !

hehe. Whell beleve it or not but i get 10ks per litre in the city with my 4L V6 ranger but a tank lasts me a week and a half and takes R1000 to fill up.

Whaaaat? I only get about 8.5 k/l with my 2.5 Ranger & most of the mileage is on the highway.

I started to tweak the wifes car to make it more effecient, free-flow kazorst, K&N filter but stopped short of a chip 'n choon because all the changes seemed to do was increase the pressure applied to the loud pedal & the economy went for a ball of crap!

My Ranger has been chiped and i have done the branches and a freeflow. I service my bakkie every 5000km with new oil, oil filter, petrol filter and airfilter. Also the spark plugs i do every 20 000ks instead of 80 000ks. O and ur wifes car will use more petrol with the K&N airfilter if u dont shange the mapping on ur car correctly. with my bakkie on the long road i get 12km per litre so i am a happy chappy and she souns very good.
