I think its amazing that every sealine social seems better than previous one.

The Kzn boys have not stopped singing the praises of the all the guys they have met.

Emile your vast Knowledge and willing distribution thereof
has been the talk of the town and not forgetting your casting ability, apparantly the dam was too small to accomodate you.

And now Simen and Ian F have left the guys shell shocked.

And Niel those legs and that Apron - I think I'll just leave it that.

I think those of us who could not and did not make the Social lost out big time.

Well done to all you guys.

It's good work you did sealiners. Having seen 'em foto's, am jealous. Us who didn't make it missed big time. I couldn't make it because my other half got involved in an accident on Friday noon, but things are under control now. Now that lady badluck has passed my way and gone, I'm more than sure that I won't miss the next event.

mnyamane, I hope the better half is well and that the accident was not too serious.
There will definitely be a next time and we would like all sealiners to join us.

Guys, please let me know what our costs are.......I wasn't aware of them. Sheeeeez, bigger cohones than any of us could have figured to arrange without any pre-booking deposits etc. Please post the info and all of us attendees can do the right thing and square up the costs.

Yup, all who didn't attend missed some serious casting demo's from the big guys. Lot's of info was made available to us as well. And the very, very good company.

I somehow think that the next one will be exceptionally well attended....and rightly so.

Cheers

and the big guy Graeme... (who uses Fluorocarbon for his sinker traces!!). Yes. True story.

Spoke to Graeme tonight.....he says you get much more distance when you cast with fluorocarbon on your sinker trace. Try it sometime!

Hi Guys
My apologies for responding so late to the social. A big thank you to all the guys present. The Master, Jace, etc for the commitment of getting here all the way from Durbs, that shows commitment.
Emile for sharing all that knowledge, Reefman for the demo on knots and all the others present with their input a very big thank you.
Andries we will have to watch ourselves if that son of yours really gets into the casting habit. What he achieved in a couple of hours is something to be proud of. Ian thanks for the cast with your rod be assured, that rod is next on my shopping list.
Regarding the entrance fee ( FORGET IT ) a very small price to pay for the knowledge I gained with a bunch of BAKGAT guys and ladies.

Simen & Ian F.

Thanks guys - I'm sure your generousity will not go unrewarded.

Simen - I'll tell the youngster what you said and I agree, things are looking up for his casting. I'll definately try and get him to the coast more often.

Who knows - as a parent one can only give him the opportunity, he is definately making it work.
With Sealine also on his side, he is getting the support and coaching that one can only wish for - thanks.
It's you  guys's fault if Expat gets voted off the Protea team in five years time to make space for MarcelleH.
Expat - I'll bet you make the team very, very soon, you've got that ' Ambasodor for the sport' attitude and that's worth gold.

See you in Vidal - only two weeks to go.
