YES TO GARMIN FOR GPS NOT SO HOT FOR THE SOUNDERS.
1. FURUNO
2.LOWRANCE
3.GARMIN
GARMIN HAS GREAT MAPPING DETAIL BUT STILL NOT AS GOOD IN THE FISH FINDER AS FURUNO OR LOWRANCE
JUST MY EXPERIENCE...

garmin the best i use 350c and the gps is verry user friendly i sound up to 200m with my machine and fish for trawl soldiers no problem

have had many machines but i can trust my garmin and backup service is great i had a one year garantee(not warranty) on my mach and broke a pin off the back i asked them to fix it, but because it was under a year they replaced it with a new one no prob.thats service

look at the specs of the mach you will probably find there is not much diff between the 350c & 400c only price

i recomend them to anyone if something had to happen i will buy the same again no regrets

ps dont mount your trancducer inside your hull use a bracket that can move up and down to get the trancducer into clear water makes a hell of a diff

I'm sure they are excellent products, but I will not buy a Garmin marine product simply because they will not sponsor a prize for an angling competition. I will rather stay with companies like Lowrance and Pertec who are at least supporting the people who buy from them. The only reason why I will buy a Garmin automotive product is because T4A runs only on them.

if you go onto the garmin website i have seen that you fill in your details and what you do (compettitive or comercial) fishing for some sort of sponsorship but have never tried mabe a good idea to approach them and hear what they have to say

has anyone tried ? or do our clubs just ask the same guys all the time? it will be intersting to hear
