Garmin Fishfinder 240

Anyone got a transducer for a Garmin 240?? I was given the unit but the transducer was left on the boat in Beira and attempts to get it have failed.

It is a good unit but is discontinued and the replacement transducer is over R700...............so anyone got one lying around scheeep!!?? I don't really want to spend too much as I can get a decent entry level for R1400.

Thanks to Eric Cotton and his contacts I now have a fully operational finder which I used on Saturday for the first time - very nice 'basic' finder with good resolution at 240X240 and 400W of power to reach 300m+.

Next month I will look at adding a handheld...........possibly a Garmin 72 or 76 to match the finder??
