Garmin 60csx blue chart help please

I have the above metioned with blue chart, now my question for the fundies is, is the g2 vision really that much better then blue chart? Is the g2 vision compatible with the 60 csx. I really enjoy this gps and would love to load g2 vision on it if it will work.

As far as I know yes it is compatible, I have a 76 CXS and it load the Garmin G2 Vision card, no problem, some of the features of the G2 Vision will not show on the handheld (satelitte image, 3D view of bottom).

Hi Fedu, does yours show nice clear contours and depth? I wonder how much better it would be than blue chart if it does not show 3d? I suppose clear contours is good enough.

Really do not think it is worth it if the price diference is much and your are not going to use it on another GPS in the near future.

If you see yourself geting a Garmin 620 (excellent on the road and in the water) in the near future then go for it.

I had the G2 vision because I had a fixed Garmin GPS on my boat and at home and in friends boats would insert it in the handheld, this way with only one card could use on both devices.

Thanks for that advice, had a look at the 620 and its a very nice gps. Looks like about 10k with g2 vision.

Does the g2 vision show you the smaller reefs too or only the major reefs and big drop offs as per blue chart? If one could get this then it might be worth it?

the chart is the navigation g2 vision I do not remember seeing the g2 vision fishing chart on the handheld, but not shure have not used it recently.
