I might be going to Gariep Dam in a week or two. Could anyone recommend spots and species to target this time of year from the bank.
I'm thinking of taking my light 7 foot rod with, what baits/ lures can I use in the area?
I believe there's catfish, kurper and yellowfish in the dam?
I'm not too clued up on freshwater fishing I'm more familiar with saltwater so any advise would be appreciated
