After Sedgefield travelling to Knysna, crest the rise and take the Groenvlei turn(right hand side)thru the Lake Pleasant caravan park onto the dirt road which will take you all the way to Goukamma reserve.Providing your vehicle has sufficient ground clearance, you will be able to go all the way to the car park, if not stop at the top and walk the 600mtrs to the wooden steps. Onto the beach go toward the left side, first rocks on your left, with poles mounted in the rocks, will give good gullies for good times.
Keep your licsense handy.
Dont litter/pick/poke.
Good times bro.

Hey another lekker place is in Wilderness...Flat Rock they call it.
Just through Wilderness, past the Hoekwil turn off (left side)hang a right into the Caltex garage and drive around behind the garage.Keep on the tar as the rd bends sharply and decends to the left. Take the left turn uphill and follow to the dead end.Take a walk down the wood steps 2 the beech and you will see flat rock in all its glory.
I work both sides...or look for holes before you go down the steps. You can also work from the rock itself throwing toward George/Vic bay direction. Its lekker deep, or work shallow with vurms for some lekker dassies and other goeters.
Good luck China.

Hi  Psy,what  will  the  directions  be coming from  Cape town  Towards  Wildeness,it seems like  the above directions is coming from Knysna's side,I may  sound  stupid but  would not  want to  miss  this  at all.

Thank you  very  much you've been a  absolute blessing  this far.

Cheers

Coming from CT side to Flat rock, drive through Wildernis, as soon as it changes from a 60 to a 80 km/h zone, watch out on your right hand side for the Caltex garage (there is a hotel as well), turn right and follow the directions from there. You could also park at the hotel, and walk along the beach (you will walk left to Flat rock). It is about a 1km walk, but your car will be a safe. I've not had issues there to date.

Johan is right, both spots are just meters off the n2, i directed you as if you were coming from slaapstad.
I think best times for all places our neck of the woods is the receeding tide, and the "early" morning and "early" evening. The ou's in the water seem to like the darker times of the day.But you could be fortunate at other times of course.
Have a better one.
cheers Boet.
