Howzit Guys, was thinking of going to Ganzekraal saturday to fish for some Cow sharks or some edibles. Does anybody know if anything has come out lately??

Cows were comming out about a month ago , we got a few the one day .

Some guys have been up there since and blobbed.

Saturday so far is looking bad ( 7,5m swell ) but we will be there on saturday if the conditions improve.

Pm me your details and pm me again on friday and I will let you know if we will be there ( Me , whaler , jackal , ash etc etc )

Correct, bring a thick leader, it gets a bit hairy in big swell.::jest

It is not recommended to fish there in a big swell as the swell runs over the rocks you fish on.With some NW and if the swell allows some Guys have caught good numbers of cob there in winter.Nice vaalies also.I have been pulled flat about 3 years ago but hooks did not set on the fish , bait was red bait so I pressume it was a big galjoen.My experience there tells me that there must be colour otherwise it is no good , unless you fish late into the afternoon.Good luck

O ja one more thing if you havent seen big crayfish before this is the place , I caught 1 that must have been 2-2,5kg serious.

So best bet is to use as bigger float as possible to keep the bait of the floor/crayfish
