Game Fish 430

Howzit,

I had the priveledge of going on a brand new game fish 430 from Natal Power Boats!

My mate chose the c/c and had it moved forward with the storage hatch behind the skipper, he put 2 40hp yamahas on supplied by Durban Yamaha. This boat jumps with those motors on which made me feel at ease while in the surf. He also chose to fit all the accessories him self which saved him a whack of cash.

The sea was flat the whole weekend( so was the fishing ) so we really could put the little boat to its limits, we clocked a speed of 55km/h and with trim a tilt we never got a drop of water over the front. The storage space on this boat is great for its size we could put all our tackle away and have nothing lying on the deck, the rods fit perfectly in the gunnels and with a few more rodholders which he is going to install its will be the perfect little boat.

He installed the Lowrance elite 5 combo with a navionics card, we were very impressed with this finder and could even see our live bait jigs going down on the screen.

Beaching was a breeze and loading the boat was very easy which makes more time for cold beer!

Well done Egg and shelly your boat is perfect!

It is always a big worry spending all that cash. I must say that I was very impressed with the boat. Light on the beach, quick in the surf and easy to load. What more could a guy want...I must say that I have been around boating a shit long time and it is great to have a rig like that, I feel there are very few boats that can get out of the hole as quick as she does.
