So I arrived at the beach in a howling south easter and big seas. Luckily on my second cast I got this little guy through the reef. Tagged and released.

A bit later the morning I was joined by Hannes andDirk and then the fun really started! The small fish were there until I got this one of 37cm. Soon after that Hannes also got one of around 40cm

We decided to join DJP on another reef... Really exiting fishing, as the surf was strong. Everybody took a tumble at some stage. Lol anyways, Hannes got a beaut of 47cm with everybody else also chipping in. So it was a great session with morethan 20 gallies landed between us 4. The swim back just finished the session off nicely.
here's my 37cm.

What a lekker mission! After targetting big fish for the last couple of weeks, it was real fun scalling down and just scratching away. The Belman was a suprise, first cast of the morning on the rotten stuff, new it was gonna be a good day! And the swim wasn't bad either lol...

I like that style of oven grill...Gives the fish that smokey flavour from the dripping fat burning on the tray bottom.

Congrats on the catch as well....Waar's die spices vir daai vis..LoL
