GALJOEN ON BERKLEY GULP

Dear forum,

I would like to target gallies at Betty's bay this winter off my fishing kayak.  Have any of you had success on targeting them on berkley gulp products such as the worms and prawn imitations.

I've caught a few small hottentot on the worms but have never landed a galjoen.

never landed 1 either but im sure that the 6inch camo worm will b ur best bet.cut (aprox) 2 inches of de tail end of de
worm and put ur 1/0 hook with a 1/4ounce ball jig head through de back end of de 4 inches of camo worm u have left.this can slowly be retrieved along de bottom.another lure dat could work is de 1inch crab in natural or molting which i would rig with a no6 hook with a 1/8ounce jig and i would retrieve de same as de camo worm.
