WOW - It is very disappointing knowing that a sealine member will do in another member like you have, the gps you sold me has been classiifed from the Furuno Agents as Kaput.stuffed and finnished.
The lovely power cables you claim come with it were finished so that cost me money to replace which was pointless.
Your gps that you claim to have been in working condition has been clearly misused do to the fact that you glued it together much like some taxis on the road.
no bracket for transducer - actually a joke. well at least the finder works but the question is for how long.
if there are any sealiner members out there that need tips when buying 2nd hand goods i will gladly help especially with my recent experience thanks to Devan's wonderful deal.

everything worked before you purchased it, you saw the pics and i tested the units 4 u, come now 4 2000 u dont expect smething brand new, they were in working order when u bought them, u were happy with them, no refunds gents, dugong u werent in the deal so stay out of it.if u wana give him cash, go ahead, maybe a tip on buying stuff if you going to complain like gals, go to the shop and buy them brand new where they come with guarantees.

He did the deal with you based on what you had told him with regards to the quality and condition...
Since then a professional had diagnosed the unit as faulty and in need of repairs, which of coarse would come at an extra cost to his pocket.
The world is a small place, and fortunately in this case, bad news travels fast!!!

Theolin69: I'm sure you knew the goods were not in perfect working order, gluing & patching to demo as "working" in order to sell to a "luck", is a cheap trick.
You should be ashamed to pass on junk to another fisherman even at a discounted rate, knowing full well how vital that equip is to fishing. No need for you to get stuck into dugong, its called "common interest" amongst Sealiners.
Raps: Caveat Emptor, you should have checked with us local Sealiners to test and evaluate the goods for you. I'm sure between us okes down here we would have made a plan. I feel for you, but theres not much we can do now.

A big thanks to those who have supported me on my recent misfortune.
I had made a call to the seller telling him that the equipment sold was faulty and that i was sending it to Furuno for testing. when i disclosed this to the seller "Devan" he actually offered me my money back but i said that i will call him after Furuno gives me a report on the GPS. Furuno called me informing me that the equipment was wrecked.
I called the seller and told him what Furuno had said - i asked him if we could make some arrangement with a small refund for the GPS as the equipment was far from OK.
In actual fact the GPS was damaged externally and the seal to the machine had been broken. i did not use it once.
Anyway - the seller " devan" had changed his mind from previously offering a full refund to " It worked before i gave it to you" comment!
I then explained that I think he should do the right thing and if he thinks that changing his mind from our last conversation to what he was saying now was right then he would have to live with that " yes bad Karma" he said he was sorry and that was that - goodbye
well anyway Furuno agents had seen the bad deal i had been given as they were the ones that checked the equipment and their report was nothing less than in lamens terms "KAPUT"not repairable.
I was however offered a great deal from Furuno as they themselves acknowledged i had been conned. but i have to put money asside until i can purchase it as i had smashed my cash flow with Devans wonder deal from hell.
by the way guys - The Dorries are here and Marlin are coming out thick lately
