Fuji K series guides

Howsit guys.
I want to get a rod built up soon.
I just want to find out. Has anyone ever used their multiplyer with Fuji K Series guides?
I want to build the rod up with these guides for coffee grinder when spinning, but would also like to be able to put on my multiplyer when sliding baits.
Hence the question is it advisable to put on k series guides on a rod that I also want to use for multiplyer?

hi, i think the answer you looking for is rather using the LC(lowrider) guides, lots of discussion about here on sealine, here are some that might help

COMPARING K SERIES TO LOW RIDERS : http://sealine.co.za/view_topic.php?id=86339&forum_id=1

Fuji KR Concept : https://www.sealine.co.za/view_topic.php?id=90983&forum_id=25

i personally have a rod built with lowriders, i use a grinder and multiplier on it with no issues at all, just remember to have your reel seat lock/screw upwards and not down like multiplier rods have it in case you want to add a bionic finger. hope this helps

Thanks Bud. I was thinking on the low riders but I already bought the K series. Lol that's why I was asking before I put them on.

KW's will work perfectly with a multiplier, I do it all the time.

What sizes of KW's did you purchase?

I managed to get a set starting off with a 25 finishing off with a 10.
I don't want to go to big with the first ring.
Either a 20/25. What would you recommend?

Your fixed spool casting will suffer with a KW25 as a stripper guide.
I would start with a KW30 to KW25 to KW20 to KW12 and then your KW10's.
If you bought a KW16, use it before the 12 (I dont use KW16's very often, but there is nothing wrong with using one)

The KW25's ring diameter is fine, it's just feel it is far too low to the blank for effective stripper guide use with a big fixed spool.

The rod is only gona be a 11 foot.
I'm gona use it for scratching in between the rocks and stuff with a 4000/5000 grinder or smaller multiplyer nothing bigger than a sl30 size. Nothing to major. Hence I was thinking a 20/25 should be sufficient enough for what I wana use it. ?

LC20 (Low rider) would be first prize. (you can then change to KW's)
KW20 will suck as a stripper guide for fixed spool.

Will you be putting the reel low down ie like most SA style multiplier rods?
If so, you could get the KW25 to do a reasonable job as it will be pretty far up the rod relative to the reel.

Best idea is to tape the guides on and test it.

Im fishing a light stick setup with K series for grinder, with a small multiplier in a low seat config...And completely loving it. My bass rods looked like an almost identical setup so I thought what the hell, and glad I did!
