Fuel monotoring problems

Hi Guys

How is the best way to monotor how much fuel you use in a built in tank? They Navman trackfish 6500 that is fitted seems to say that you use little fuel but it is incorrect( the tank is under the console so not easy to get to)

What options does one have?

It works off your standard fuel level sensor along with a flow meter.
