Hi

I went and made the biggest mistake of selling my TLB's and ATTX receiver and getting the Nash SR1 alarms.

This is just a warning to everyone looking for new alarms.

DO NOT BUY THE NASH ALARMS>

I have got 4 heads, one head only picks up on the receiver at 19m, the other 3 between 78m and 84m but the box says that it can got up to 200m??????

Watch out for this!!!!!!!!

LOL... I wont change my ATT's for anything... Sorry to hear about that, but like they say, you never know what you had untill you lose it....:doh Now you can get the ATT's with the receiver, unless you want to hear your alarms on the pod... Then get the TLB's again...

I started out with ATT's and know they work for me, so I probably wont ever change to other alarms, why change if something works...

This is shocking these alarms are supposed to be the top of the line alarms...

Some tips- We have something called the consumer goods council who help the man on the street with cases like these...

They look out for the consumer when it comes to face advertising "warning discriptions ect... If the box says one thing and the product does not do what the box says then they will have a field day...

Where did you buy these alarms? If you bought them from a retailer then they will be held responsible and it would be their problem as the retailer to deal the problem with their supplier. You are the consumer and you are spending money in good faith by buying something you believe is a good product.

I work for the biggest toy supplier in Africa, i deal with these things on a daily basis. These people take on the biggest companies and retailers in the world and sort them out.

If you did buy these alarms and receiver from a local retailer, then i would suggest you name and shame them because obviously you are not getting the service and assistance from their side.

By doing this you might save a fellow sealiner the same difficulty you are faced with at the moment....

I would contact Nash directly about this, via phone. And then as kaboem said, take it back to the place you got it from. if the shop doesnt want to help, you should take it further. Those alarms are very expensive, so thats what I would do.

Kaboem I think you are making assumptions on the retailers service. The product is giving the problem and I am sure that if you take it to the shop where he bought them they will assist and only when they dont lend a helping hand should they be named and shamed.

Louis dis hoekom mens net koop by mense wat n sekere produk as core business het.

Kusaf, No i am not making asusumptions i am stating the facts here.

As i said before i deal with these things daily. Product is not the consumer's problem, if the box says one thing and the product does another then you have a case.

The product is the retailers property untill it is sorted with supplier. FACT!

O Ja and BTW Big Up to the store and the staff who actually sorted the problem!!

Thats the service we get and expect from these guys...:clap12:clap12:clap12
