Who wants to go Bass fishing with me?

Anywhere in the Vaal triangle is good for me, as long as I can take my float tube with.

I wouldnt mind a bit of a quiet, non-commercial spot? Anyone with a private venue perhaps?

Anyway, let's hear who's in, otherwise I'll just do Murray park or Middle Dam

We should strap, some bass gear (Real Bass Gear) to his arms hide his "arrtlure (calling all species) tackle" and force him to learn to fish bass the proper way...:spite

I do basslake as long as it is not on a public holiday. Then they are closed for fisherman. I think I will also be "sick" that day. I am sure basslover will also join. He is a basslale freak!!!!

I'm not opposed to Basslake... But isn't there somewhere else that maybe gets less pressure?


Ziyaad, maybe if you declare a Jihaad against Bass (which is an invasive species) it's ok to go on your holy day??

I hear you. So far I am counting 5 guys that's in.. Let's see how it goes, I'm easy.

I also wouldnt mind trying for some vaal river Bass... I have never caught a river bucketmouth

We can fish in the Three Rivers jetty area towards the suikerbos river. Its a bit more quite there than towards the emerald and the water is cleaner. I was there yesterday. Visibilty was good aswell. We are fishing the Varsity Dam again tomorow morning in Vanderbijlpark. Will give feedback. Its a perfect dam for tubing and small dingies and almost nobody knows about it. As per generaal the Varsity used the dam to do studies on Bass.

Bru, I dont care who pitches and who doesn't. This is not an axclusive thing. Anybody from this forum that can and wants to come fish with us is welcome.

We fished there now a few times! Going tomorow morning! Trying to get the place cleaned up. It used to have peers and a lapa but its all gone now. Grass is a bit long but we are taking a bush cutter with this weekend to clean the launch site where the jetty was. Hopefully other fisherman that use the place will aslo follow and clean the place. Goverment is doing nothing. They used to hold remote control motorboat races there. Dam has alot of kurpers in aswell!!!

It is totally legal to fish there yes what time you gonna be there tomorrow scrat? im gonna try and be there at 6 Finished the most modifications on dinghy last night she just seriously begging for a pint job now but first she needs a water test so if you gus see an idiot floating about in the middle of the dam tomorrow morning you will know she failed her test

Just discovered a mini bass lake 5 km from my house. F#ck you guys must see the size off the bass in it. We saw 3 bass swimming in the middle. They were huge. I've been living neer this place for 27 year. Never new it excisted. Is a bit in the "boendus" but I dont care. Will try and fish it on sunday and give feedback. Bl1ks3m!!! now I am excited. I dont think other real bass fisherman know of this place. It used to be a nature reserve way back in the 70. But you will only be able to fish from a floating device or from the side as the sides are to steep to launch a small boat, you have to climb down. Wish I had my camera to take pics of those fish......

Generaal, see you after six. My dad and a friend are going to gooi pap aswell!
