What trace & bait u use? How long did it take u to grt it beached?

What a catch great going there and can you please post some info with regards to what tackle,bait and how long the fight was.

Hey guys things are getting hot some come on if we can't get the edibles try for the inedibles they seem to be the only good stuff biting.;)

Trace: Slide (cast far out almost to that bank in front of BlueLagoon rocks)

with 200lb carbonized wire,  2x 7/0 Daitchi's

(the set hoook was straightened, use only 10/0!!!)

Bait: A donated, damaged fresh shad, sliced and gashed.

Fight: Probably a record at only 52 minutes, should have taken him

2 to 3 hours.................Thanks to the flat shelf on the beach

just south of the rocks.

(Thanks to the Shad fisherman for donating his catch back to the Ocean)

My word..cameron really pulled an ace out on that one..as for his cast,it continues to amaze how well he punt's his sinkers out..we all proud off ya cameron..:cool:

i've gotten off from work on the 1st, next week friday and im gonna fish at Blue Lagoon the whole day if the weather holds up........anyone interested in joining me??

cool master...........a pal from work and i are just going to kill the day over there.......hopefully get some fish..............plus shad season opens on friday so i can at least try for a garrik...........a fish i always dream of catching, but this fish always never finds its way to my bait
