didyou get that in the river at the bottom of the trout farm?

Yip, I caught a total of 15 that day on various flies. The fly that produced very well was the mullberry fly because along the bank was a mullberry tree and as the mullberries fell in the water they were taken by yellows.

That stretch of river all the way past Kloofsicht to Bergsig has awesome fly fishing potential, dry flies late afternoon is great fun. The fly for that is the bat wing mayfly, much bigger mayfly pattern than the usuals. Bergsig has a great stretch of river, much wider than brookewood

i know i catch carp in the river by bergsig but nothing over 5 kilos, that dam at the top has some real monsters in it
