Hi there Nash.
I know there are quite a few species in the dam, & if I remember correctly, carp, bluegill & tilaphia would be the predominant species.
If my memomory serves me correct, trout was caught in the upper reaches of the inlets, though this was +-1980.
Apparently there is bass around, but difficult to find/catch.
This all I am mentioning as info heard of late from angling buds, but truelly to be confirmed.
I think you should Google more or do a search on SEALINE about common caught species.....it will give you a good idea what to buy.
