FOSAF and YFWG are hosting a fly fishing event at Eikendal, Saturday 16th October. The Western Cape Federation of South African Fly Fishermen and Yellowfish working group is hosting a day at Eikendal to convey what we have done over the past year. A highlight that most fly fishermen will be interested in, is the stocking of a few stillwaters with Clanwilliam yellowfish and sawfin for angling purposes. At the event, the system for angling access and further development of Clanwilliam and Sawfin fisheries will be discussed. Tom Sutcliff will be giving a talk on fly fishing for salmon in Iceland. To top off a splendid day of fishing and "Fly Talk" we shall have a lucky draw for some fabulous prizes.
