For the guys that will be arriving friday , welcome and drive safe !!


This weekend , either fri or sat it will be a night session at blombos or raghole. A day eds session will also be on this weekend.

Lekker bud! I'm arriving in PE on thursday- ill definitely be in for a night session this weekend if I can get the car!

Ja man try your best. My shuttle service don't go that way haha.

Let's keep an eye out cos some PE okes might also join , then u can maybe come with them

                  Waar is Blombos-is dit nie in die Weskaap nie-daar waar die visse nou uit gespoel het nie.

Roly : dit klink na `n goeie naweek se hengel - sien so uit en o ja, ek bring daai varswater slides saam ;-)

Die damduikers kom. Ons sal Vrydag middage daar wees en sien ook uit na die Eds session ......... ietsie vir die pan.

Jul sal die getye en weer bekyk en ons laat weet waar en hoe ne?

hey guys fished paradise this morning water had colour but we couldnt even manage a fish.. chokka blobs came out as is except stained a funny brown colour... dunno whats going on but it wasnt a good session :/

Aqua that brown on ur bait is sediment from the rivers coming down
Its settled in the areas u fished but will soon be gone (the fish don't like that )

HI Roland

As the acknowledged local expert can you give any advise as to where I might find elf at this time of year. I had a go at Marina Martinique but only got some really small ones and need some a bit bigger for bait.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Fishing guy , u can try anywqhere in aston and paradise. Lure them in with bait and as soon as you hook the 1st one start spooning. Marina / walskipper is known for the razor bellies and the slaughter of them. I DONT FISH THERE

Ons is aan morne ! Was gistraand by houtbos , bietjie lepel gaan gooi maar die see was bietjie groot en sterk daai kant.


Weet net nie hoelaat. Ons maak blykbaar more toe maar weet nie hoe laat.

Thanks for the reply. I will go and have a look around your suggested areas and let you know how it goes. I must say that I was a bit surprised by the number of what appeared to be experiences anglers taking out vast quantities of very under size fish.

Roland hopefully coming down sometime in december we need to make another session and Gee Tee remember we stil have to have a session as discussed in jbay

Roland you are the expert but doesnt it make sense to fish rag hole side if Houtbos is too big? Always found that rag hole was alot calmer and more fishable than Houtbos when the swell was running?
