I'm new on this forum and with saltwater fishing. I can't tell you how much I've learned from all your posts and comments, this is truly a goldmine. I just hope that I'll be able to start making contributions in the very near future.

I'm also looking for rock and surf clubs in the J'Burg / Gauteng area. Any contacts?

What do we need to bring along for this event (besides an enquiring mind and good humour) ... charcoal, etc ...

jordi, I'll post a list and some maps this evening.

short list for the time being:

1. Yourself. (Don't forget this item)
2. Food & Drink
3. The above mentioned enquiring mind and good humour.
4. Somthing to sit on, we have not booked the hall.
5. Cash for entry. (If I recall it's in the region of R20 or R30)
I'll bring a few bags of charcoal, it's silly for everyone to bring a bag, there are huge braai's at the venue. A bag or two will make enough fire for everyone.

If we get enough support it may be worth booking the hall again.
