Fly fishing near Notthingham road - Midlands

Hi All,Being dragged to a wedding in the midlands in a few weeks time (luckily not mine!)Will be staying near Notthingham road in the Midlands and have the Saturday am free to fish..
but where? - anyone has any advise on some good places in the near vicinity?I have the option to take limited gear (flying there) so can take either my bass travel or fly rod.. would prefer the fly rod if i can.. but not picky at this stage... trout preferred but bass would be good also.
any recommendations of areas (within 30km of notthingham road) where I can do a day ticket etc perhaps?

Hi Anton, there a bunch of lodges and B&Bs in the area that allow fishing but many of them dont allow day visitors - fishing only for folks staying there.

You can try contact the Wildfly shop in Notties. Im sure they can help you out with some info on the area.
