That's quite a good price for the V-Boat as far as I know. When you are in the tube you are mostly out the water but every now and then you'll catch a splash between the legs so your but is going to get wet. I have personally never needed waders, I just use a pair of boardies an the only bite's which I have suffered were those of the mozzies so waders are going to help beans anyway. I'm sure waders would help in cold water but I like to think of myself as Conan The Barbarian so I don't use them (Read: "I don't have money for tackle, never mind waders... :))

Yeah R1700...is not a bad prize...i just use my breathable waders when im fishing in dams with lots of grass and lillys...I was full of insect bites on my legs after the first time i fished bass o manias dam SWARTKOPPIES, its full of grass, same with Murray Park, so thats the only time except winter, then i will where neoprenes, but otherwise the boardies are fine.
