Your best bet would one of the farmer cooperatives in the countryside.  These are stores where the farmers buy animal feed, fertilizer, seeds, implements etc.  I was in one yesterday and they keep it in 5kg bags, in a shed outside because it stinks like hell.  Yes, I know it wont help you much because I am in Gauteng but there should be many cooperatives in KZN as well.

Ek maak gebruik van Sarel Collins maar hy is in Gauteng en hy corrier dit altyd vir my as jy sy info soek skree maar dan paas ek dit aan vir jou. Sy pryse in baie goed en sy vismeel even beter.

Skuimkop, i will definately keep your info in mind. Does it have a 'shelf life', can it be stored for a long time? Also, what is the minimum weight i can order, price?

I store mine in a sealed container and I think if it doesn't get moister it will be fine for a realy long time. Stored mine for over a year now and no problems. There won't be a limit on what you can order from him but remember you pay per kilo if you courier it down to you and that can get expensive. Sarel asked me last year R25 per kilo which you will find out is a good price and as I said I'm willing to pay the ekstra courier costs because of his fishmeal's quality.

Unlimited sorry ek reply nou eers. Ja Karp is ook mal daaroor asook beeslek. Lyk of Muddy's ook stout is oor beeslek.

Anyway ek meng die vismeel saam met my supercast as ek hengel by damme soos Rondevlei waar net Karp is en dan (meeste van die tyd) by damme waar baber ook is omdat ek nie mind as 'n baber my Karp aas optel nie. As ek voerballe vir baber maak is dit die vismeel en fyn geblende lewer wat gekombineer word met suprercast en bloed wat die ding vir my doen maar om jou antwoord te beantwoord ja in my opinie hou Karp en baber ewe veel van vismeel.

Ek se weer ek target die groter Karp en met tempo hengel gaan jy baie geld verloor as jy vismeel gaan gebruik.
