Fishing Venue

Can some one assist with an update on Boschkop Vaal Dam.

There is a fishing competion being organised by some people for Nov 2011. The venue is Bochkop.

I was searching the web to find out how to get to this place when I read a report about Bochkop, which indicated that stealing of fisherman equipment was rife. This was witten in 2010.

Is it still like that? and if so are there any other angling resorts in that area that offer good security etc.
