Fishing rod

Hi, i got a great deal when buying a new reel, and i got a free Jarvis walker Prodigy rod 12ft 2 piece, i just wanna know if any of you know this rod or even used it? is it strong? worthwhile keeping?

I got a 8 feet Jarvis Walker 2 piece rod for 9 years now that I used for river fishing. Once caught a 12kg Cob in the lagoon at Astonbay. Still using it up here in Angola and still in very sound condition. Had a look at it a week ago and thought, wow, still in a much better condition than my expensive Shimano & Daiwa rods.
