FISHING OUT OF OPBC

Hi guys
Just bought a boat, and got my skipper license, got alot off experience as a crew member, but now need to take the next step.
I would like to launch at OPBC on saterday, get to know the boat, and see that everything works ok.
If there's no snoek around , what else are there to target?
Dont know of any tail at robben at the moment, what about hotties ?
Can any body point me in the direction of a reef, or spot that's worth a try, would like to putt my first blood on the deck!

Thank you

Bud, OPBC is dead at the moment. has been for a while. sometimes you get tail, but its been ages. There was some good snoek in the winter. just phone the club for update or pop in and buy the barmen a beer.

Keep an eye out its obvious, theres no parking if snoek are around!

Fishing mostly on the west side of the island.

you can get hotties anywhere, look at the map (should have as its a skippers requirement) and choose shallow pinnacles.

check the weather. saturday looks pretty crap

No.1 know your boat

No.2 dont f with the weather and swell in the cape
