HELLO ALL I JUST WANT TO ASK

I HAVE A FISHING  LICENSE( FRESHWATER PERMIT) HOW MANY RODS  MAY I HAVE IN THE WATER

as far as i know you may only have 2 rods wif two hooks on each.

My understanding of the law is that that the limitation on hooks as prescribed, is the one to go by. Reason why specie anglers may fish with 4 rods with 1 hook each. Equivalent of of two rods with two hooks each (I stand under correction).

I got mine from Hyper Pawn in Goldman Street Florida for R25

another thing is, you may fish without a license... and if or when you get caught, before any action can be taken against you, they must give you the option of buying a license from the official on the spot...

so the best thing to do is keep R100 in your tackle box incase you need it.

hehe I dont have one I only take one out for the sea when I go there.  I think it is a waste to buy one or in north-west it is I have never even seen a person getting asked for a lic and I have been fishing 18 years easy.

Chris the law on fishing is that you can only catch fish with a line and a hook, and you can only have 2 rods in the water at a time with 2 hooks on one rod that is not just here its international and any SA comp or inlands it will always be the same. so you can bait your other rods up, but they may only be casted in after another line is removed out of the water.

i did get my permit from the post office in pretoria, hercules .

It is near impossible to get your hands on a fresh water fishing permit in Cape Town.

Purchased mine from the site office at Rietvlei damn in Table View for R55 about two weeks ago.
