Fishing in Sweden - any questions?

Bru I think more than half of us would love to come and try sweden's fishing a try - but the cost in getting there is going to leave us fishing local waters for a couple more years - Welcome to Sealine hopefully you can come join us in some of our waters

Hi Fishmaster and welcome.
I visit Sweden quite often (Ljungby / Vaxjo area) and have often wondered about packing a rod. Is there anything exciting in this area? Tight lines

I guess the most common way to transport rods is to use a tube. Didnt find any good on google, but I think thats the way to go.

Actually I was fishing in Africa 1995 with a crew of TV-people. It was an expedition for swedish TV which I was lucky to join. Amazing shark fishing at the coast of Swakopmund and fishing for Tiger Fish in Zambesi river. I would love to do that again. ::S

It was called "Expedition Namibia" - maybe you have seen it? I am the little boy fishing in it. As I said it was a long time ago... :fswim

hi fishmaster, welcome to sealine...about the above, i think fin-s was actually referring to the fishing in sweden, not how to transport rods?

anyway, i see in your profile your equipment is 'mostly wobblers'...excuse my ignorance, but what's  wobbler?

Ah. You are right. Of cause he ment that he have thought about bringing his rod. Sorry for my bad english understanding.
- And sure, there is some great lakes around Växjö. I think you should bring your rod next time. Maybe I can join you next time you want to fish there.

Wobblers = Crankbaits :)
