If you can only take one type of bait,I would recommend Chokka. It's probably the easiest to 'maintain' and works fine for Kings,Stumpies and Bonefish alike. Bonefish being very good livebait for Kings. Never fished from Inhaca's side,but at a guess it cant be much more than 350-450 meters across from Santa Maria at Inhaca's southernmost tip. Pretty deep water in the channel where the tide rushes in and out between the landmasses. Pretty sure you'd be able to buy fresh fish as bait from the local fisherman,but then again this is going back a long time.
