Hello all, i'm looking for a new fresh water fishing spot to try, Zeekoevlei seems to be very quite these days after stories of fish being netted, Rietvlei is ok but are there other safe places to fish ?

We used to use Seekooi as a venue until they netted the placde out. Flamingo Vlei out on the West Coast rd near Bayside has good fish - just don't eat them. Further afield Theewaterskloof is good value for the drive.
