Fishing fine penalties

Problem with those receipts is they fade over time & don't last that long in my wallet!
I try to make copies as well or scan it.

I make copies of both my son`s permit and mine - we each have copies of our permits in each others bags as well as a copy of both in the car.

Also a full copy in our lure/spinning bag - so , a total of 4 sets with ID documents.

This way we will always have proof of our permits on hand - I simply flash it and save myself a stroke when some of these arrogant inspectors approach me. That`s of course after I made him wait quite a bit before I reel in and get back to my tackle box.;)

How are fish measured for size by the inspectors a friend of mine recently got a fine and mentioned that the inspectors measured the fish from behind the head to where the tail begins and I told him that I have seen the guys at the trek measuring their fish from the tip of the snout to the end of the tail:imnew

Hi Skarrel

All fish are from nose to end of tail.

Its a sad day when you have to tell people that the trekkers are doing it right and the inspectors haven't got a clue!

Hi - be very careful of paying an admission of guilt fine - many people have only to find out they have a criminal record - there have been a number of high court cases lately where people have taken the authorities on as they say they were specifically told this wouldn't happen if they paid without appearing in Court - as a result of this they had to change the wording of the admission of guilt fine so its clear - read yours carefully to be sure
