I had a feeling that this weekend would produce some fish after the huge swells we had earlier in the week. I deperately needed fresh bloodworm and prawn. Saturday morning, wifey wanted to go shopping but she was denied due to the low tide being 10:45, got my quota worm, now to choose the time and place to fish. Haroun tells me that he can only fish Sunday morning after 6:30 and that suites me 100%. The only thing was that Haroun pitched up at 7:30 !! Get to Marina and the water's looking nice but the water starting to receed quickly... Haroun rigged a nice bloodworm and prawn combo for his second cast. His bait was hardly in the water when his Torium statred to sing a tune that we all love to hear ... ZZZZZ ZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ !!!! At first he thinks it's a shark but then he changes his mind when he sees the striped body coming out of the water ! It's a Steenie, 66cm, 3.3Kgs according to digital scale ! WOW ! I thought we were in for a party, but I was denied that pleasure as nothing seemed to bite after that meneer came out ! We fished till 14h30, the water looked nice but no fish ! :-[ Next for me...
