Just out of interest what is your take on the present fish limits recreational anglers are permitted to take. From what i have read they are spot on the mark
and allow you to take enough home to feed your family if your that way inclined as I am. The only thing that sticks out like a sore thumb is the amount of tuna and yellowtail kingfish anglers are permitted to take?
Can anyone shed some light on why the limit is 10 on these big hefty fish. Surelly a limit of 2 fish is more than sufficient for several adequate feeds? Perhaps they are that abundant in SA that it doesn't matter. Or is it because anglers have to travel a vast distance to get amongst these fish and not many do?
Milt,
