Sometimes tail between that stretch in the summer....The el nino has ridged in hard for the last month so most likely lots of easts this summer, so theres quite a good chance actually. When i see the shoals there that time of year they are often feeding on mantis shrimp and impossible to catch, thats the caveat..

good time of year, there are normally quite a few shoals swimming around between fish hoek and simonstown, but they can be hard to catch, some days they will follow your lure to your feet, but won't commit. You will need a pair of decent polarised sunglasses, and a really keen eye to spot the shoalsI am going to be staying in Fish Hoek in January and wondering if it is worth bringing a spinning rod with me and what could I target between Fish Hoek and Glencairn.
