Fischerhaven 5 July

So yesterday afternoon myself and my dad went to go wet a line. The weather was great, warm and a slight breeze blowing. I was hoping to get my dad onto his first bass but unfotunately that didnt happen. My day started off with a trout on the first cast ,caught on a 3" pumpkinseed senko. As it hit the water he took off with it. Never had that happen before but man he gave me a good rev. About 30 minutes later a got a small largie in the shallows inbetween the growing reeds, also gave a good fight for its size.

After that it went quiet but it was good to get out to the water.

nice one there south paw.my friend with the same name as you also got a hit and thought his rod is going to break to get a trout on the other side on his 3" slugo

Nice. Thanks for the report. Always nice to hear about fish being caught, especially in winter.

Yeah the fish are around but they biting very softly almost like a bluegill, that tap tap kind of bite.
