First time fisherman at Mpame

Hi Guys

Really good sight you've got here.

It's my first time going rock and surf fishing and we going to Mpame in Oct 09. Can't wait.

Does anyone have any advise on best points, bait tackle etc.

We going in a group of 10, some experienced and then me, so would appreciate any help I can get.

been spending alot of time at the dam getting used to the "MULTIPLIER"

i have been there before, good for fishing and also some nice spot for sharks, most spots are hard to land though with the point on the main beach a bit easier, also need to have nice weather, take everything with especially fresh bait

Remember to take your own water! Thats if you are going to camp there. Water is scarce. Take enough Sliding clips for Garrick and enough bait. Pilchards and squid is a must. Live bait fish is abundant. DONT LEAVE ANY VALUABLES IN YOUR VEHICLE!!!
