So I picked up my cousin and went down to strand got there at 6pm and started throwing some mullet baits and some chokka to look for edibles on the side but there was a lot of rubbish in the water. So decided to move a bit still no luck then moved all the way to the left and the water looked good. So I made a pilchard and frigate bom and casted it just over the back bank and waited then I saw my rod bounce and picked up slack line and I knew now is my chance and waited he pulled me flat and started reeling him in gave the rod to my cousin and I went and landed the fish a 1.32m 30kg cow shark. So decided to throw a yellow tail head and waited about 10min and had one on again this time a bit bigger got the fish to the front gave the rod to him so that I could land the fish and he gave the thing slack line and of he was I still went after the fish but decided to rather let him swim away didn't want to take chances. Made a few more boms got 2 more pickups but nothing to serious so called it a night. Tackle used custom technium heavy by enigma and finnor offshore9500 and 50lb suffix braid and 1.0mm suffix leader

Sounds like you had some fun . For the cows in try bigger roundish baits{rugby ball shape} than long thin baits, also have lots of float inside.
Tight lines.

You're braver than me. This cold has be hiding in the house away from the sea for the last few weeks. I have not even cast a cow shark bait yet!

Nice action! Always fun when the cows school and you can get a few pulls within minutes.
