Fin-Nor Reels

I see that the prices have come down quite a bit now that they are more freely available.

Can the owners of these reels please comment on the following for me:

Castability - How does it compare to what is out there.
Durability - Same question
Availability of parts.

Thanks

I Own 4 of them 2x 20 and 2 x 30

very smooth and solid
Durability - Same question
I have had them for 2 years and no problems!
Availability of parts.
as far as i know i'm the only person with spares for them, i'm sure The agents will have parts before they start braking, out of the 50 i brought in there has only been one reel that has broken and it was due to severe abuse, admitted by the owner.

I just bought myself a Fin-Nor 30, spoke to a couple of guys that have been fishing with them last 12 - 24 months and they all rave about the reel. Will be putting mine through it's paces in Dec so will only honestly be able to tell then. My friends recon the drag is right up there with the best of teels, durability well it feels bloody solid and smooth and better than my Saltist. Casting will only know next weekend when I practise and line capacity is better than Saltist 50 or Torium 30.

Aqua - The 30 is the biggest. One of my buddies bought a 30 this morning for R1096 at Fishing Specialist here in CT.

@ R 1069 that is a steal buy 10! I know that the new agents had a "special launch prize" and these prizes will not last very long and the new stock should be more expensive.

They also have them at Seagulls online for R1170 for the 20 and R1215 for the 30. https://www.seagullsonline.co.za/equipment/reels/multipliers.html?p=2

it has same line capacity as trinidad 40 (if ud use a trini 40 for swimbait, u can use the finnor30 for it as well)
it casts same as trinidad30 or daiwa satist50/saltiga50
no, actually it casts easier because there is NO WAY u can throw a overwind with that reel. its very-very smooth.
i tried, i tried hard, to throw a kraaines, i couldnt succeed. i fished with the reel for over year. i hooked and played for hours number of serious fish that got away and in between laned a few big fish with it (pictures of which i cannot post). i abused the reel, have never serviced it, it spent hours under water.
Im still fishing with it and happy with it.

now, whos gonna pay me % on finnor sales LOL
