quick update gents.
The Galjoen fishing has been slow this weekend past due to the big south easter and freezing water on Macs. interesting enough, yesterday afternoon we had a south westerly breeze and it definately had a positive change on water temperature with a number of gallies being landed in the late afternoon.
it would be a good idea to try different areas of the Falsebay coast, as there is big differances in water temp between strand, macs and down to strandfontein.
Bait of choice- whitemussel still accounting for most fish, with the bigger fish starting to show a preference to redbait.
Rademeyer fishing standing on a total of 84 Galjoen for the season, with only 4 fish kept- and the rest safely released!
