Exceler style f

Hi guys, I have a Daiwa exceler style f 10,6 xxxh rod.
I have read a lot about rods that need to have braid friendly guides and I have no idea if me rods guides are braid friendly or not?
Does anyone have some experience with this rod?

I have one and it handles braid. Just take not that the rings pop out the guides when they get older.

I can just make a comment that you will have to replace all the guides at a later stage.

My rod has just gone in for new guides as we speak.

I have send my rod to Mark of Rod Worx here in PE. do not know yet with what he is replacing them with and what the cost is going to be but it will be decent guides and I would imagine that it is going to be in the R500 range.

Will post as soon as I know what it cost and which guides his going to fit.

Hi

My guides have been replaced with Fuji BSVOG on the bottom section and BLOG on the top section.

Mark took just over a week and cost me R400. Just take into account that my exceller is the 8" version.
