a few months ago i bought a can of reel-x, after some research, i came to beleive this product came in a squeeze bottle with a yellow to gold coloured liquid. while purchasing this product it came in a aerosol can, the owner/representative of the company said they changed it from the the squeeze bottle because no matter how they tried to contain the product it leaked so they opt for the aerosol can. at home i used the stuff and the liquid was green in colour. prior to this purchaase i had bought a biggish can of corrosion-x marine from a yamaha store because it was the only thing i could find at the time when looking for reel-x. corrosion-x marine contents are green in colour, you could say identical to reel-x. not only the colour but the behaviour aswell, kind of thick and fuzzy at first then it turns into watery green liquid. to now, i havent had look inside the reels after the last service (recent) and dont have any complaints to date.
