On last week ESA program Mark was fishing in CT for Tuna and on his one Lure he used a litte thingemajig that is call a Pulsating Eska,and is their anyone that can tell me more about this thingemajig and where i can get one.

Hi albie! The lure you are speaking about is the ESCA - living light, its the latest  developement  in an angling accessory. it imitates the same light  that certainspecies of bait emit aswell as the frequency that the bait fish send, the game fish pick up the frequency on the lateral line and come to inspect it, then they see the light which they associate with bait and it helps to trigger aggressive feeding. the lure only activates in salt water and will work for up to 100 hours, so if you use it for three hours then you have aprox 97 hours left and so on and so on. once its out the salt water it stops working. they are available from most tackle outlets country wide, if you don't have any luck contact the guys at Lowrance SA in durban- 031-3686649

Hello

Would anyone know what the implications of using such items for Rock & Surf would be if guys who fished comps used them would the unions allow the use of these ESCA's.

Any input would be helpful.
