Hi.
To the guys from ESA, what's up with all the new people on the show? One week it's Howie and Rob and then there's other guy... Nothing wrong with new hosts, but how's about introducing them properly and telling us why there's been a change, etc. I'm sure many guys are wondering...

Like where's Carolien for example?

Anyway, just my 2c.... Other than that i'm enjoying the show... Keep it up guys.

Guys, ESA has had a revamp so to speak. Caroline is no longer the presenter. Her place was taken by a Lady with the name of Olivia Jones or just OJ.

If you haven't watched ESA for a while, you wont notice the difference in the current show and the old one. But you can take my word for it the new ESA with OJ hosting is much better than the old.

The graphics, underwater shots,  comments and explanations are all better.

The new guys OK you have a point there, don't know much about them, except Zane who is a member of Sealine, is a "development angler" ( I hope I got that right ). We at Sealine hope to see much more of him in the future.

Still wanted to ask --what happened to Able--or maybe he is only on leave.

But check it out, you will be surprised.

Thats the thing... I watch it every week and haven't missed an episode of bass or saltwater from the begining of last year when I started watching, but they just remove and add on people without any explanation... I got used to the old crew and even met a few of them and one just wonders what's happening when they start disappearing without explanation... There's nothing in the mag either... Or did I miss that. I don't buy it, just read a few here and there...

We are trying to keep the bass show fresh... if Howie and I were on every single week the show would get boring real quick... Having the same faces and same techniques shown (because we all have our comfort zones) every week will get people tuning out rather than tuning in... Also we listen to feedback from the viewers and one of the complaints is that they don’t want to see the KZN dams every week... despite what people think some of us have REAL jobs and can’t drive around the country all the time foooshing.... so having some peeps in other provinces filming occasionally makes sense... keep watching... it’s like Forrest Gump’s box of chocolates... you never know what you gonna get!

So where's Xavier? Is he gone? I hear you Rob... Makes sense...

Also, saw an ad in the mag about an ESA freshwater, fly, carp and barbel! Is that just a mag or can we expect a show of a similar nature? And insider info, if you can... Lol.

Take care...

Xavier left recently to peruse other interests... I’m not 100% sure what his plans are... as for ESA Fresh Water... yes it will be a fresh water magazine and we would love to do a fresh water show... it all depends on sponsors, SuperSport and one or two other factors... but the viewers have asked for it and ESA listens. It’s all up in the air at the moment but as soon as there are any concrete facts I’m sure the forums will be abuzz with the news...

^^..

Carolien has another project she is working on and left ESA about a month ago... I miss her too...I really enjoyed her.

I’m not involved in the salt water side of things but Abel is still around... and he isn’t on email so I never chat to him...

We recently had a lucky angler make over winner with us... Herman Harris from PMB... and all guests HAVE to be paid up members of ESA and not just the talents mates.

Other than Rob an' Howie's show ( extremely entertaining), ESA bass is monotonous. The content hardly differs from week to week with the same old tackle shop advise every week.

Maybe the saltwater show's content manager should be consulted for the bass side.........

A freshwater show, mmmm, now there is something worth waiting for, drop the rest of the bass shows, and pop Rob and Howie as the presenters for the Bass section of such a freshwater show. Maybe ESA can consider Ryan Clarke here on Sealine to be the presenter for the artlure section.
