Hi guys, can anybody remember the name of the species caught by the SA Master guest angler in Knysna. i think it was a name and surname of sumbody lol .

the one with the horrible teeth? if so its a 'john brown' they are apparently caught of some spots here towards simons town as well .....

Janbruin.......endemic to our waters.

Member of Sparidae family (seabreams) .... like stumpies,steenbras,zebras,blacktails etc.

Kinda looks like a cross between a brusher and a bronze bream!

The Fishbase name is : Musselcracker seabream
