Hi Guys .
Originally from P.E and only done river fishing for Grunter ( 4 years back ) , Ive moved down to CT and now want to do Surf fishing ( and maybe some rock fishing as well )
I like the idea of catching a cob
.
I know nothing about the types and sizes of rods and reels ( sinker weights and types of line )
So if I want to spend about R1500 and R2000 Max, is there a combo that any of you can name for me so that I can make some calls for pricing???
I live a stone though from tuckers , but want to try other shops....

I have tried and cant cast with a multiplier - my only overnight surf fishing trip consisted of 3 casts and about a hour of untying knots , until a friend cast for me !!
Im not a youngster so that was embarrassing !!!
